Tigers Win game 1 to start the season 
Grissom Varsity Tigers ousted James Clemens 4-0 on Friday.
Grissom Varsity Tigers were the first to get on the board in the third when Grayson Stroble grounded out, scoring one run.
Charlie Cassingham earned the win for Grissom Varsity Tigers. The starter gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking one. Lewis took the loss for James Clemens. The starter went four innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out four and walking one. Carter Edwards collected the save.
Number eight hitter, Cody Brothers, showed the depth of Grissom Varsity Tigers lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Grayson Stroble led Grissom Varsity Tigers with two runs batted in.
