Grissom Varsity Tigers were triumphant over Briarwood Christian 6-2 on Saturday.

A ground out by Dalton Dardin put Grissom Varsity Tigers on the board in the top of the first.

Grissom Varsity Tigers added two runs in the second. Charlie Cassingham singled down the left field line on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, making the score 3-0.

Charlie Cassingham stepped on the hill first for Grissom Varsity Tigers. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and two runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking three. Carter Edwards tossed two and one-third innings of zero-run ball for Grissom Varsity Tigers in relief. The pitcher gave up one hit, striking out two and walking two.

Leadoff hitter Charlie Cassingham led Grissom Varsity Tigers with two hits in three at bats.
